Grant Peterson is Executive Vice President of Copper Insurance Group. Prior to this role, Grant owned, operated, and worked in several businesses across the entertainment and hospitality industries, where he collaborated with some of the largest hospitality groups in the Midwest and Iowa, including Dark Side of the Spoon hospitality group. Through this experience, he developed a deep understanding of brand experience, client service, and relationship driven growth. After his first visit to Copper’s original office in Springboro, Ohio, he knew this was what he wanted to do, combining his passion for entrepreneurship, people, and business to help shape a more connected and forward-thinking approach to the insurance industry. Grant earned a degree in Enterprise Leadership from the University of Iowa.

Tom Peterson is the Principal, President, and Founder of Copper Insurance. With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tom began his career at Cincinnati Insurance, where he advanced to the role of Senior Underwriter under the guidance of Jack Schiff, Sr. He later joined Brower Insurance Agency, widely regarded as one of the top insurance agencies in the country, where he worked under the mentorship of Norm Eckstein.
Following Brower’s sale and a shift in values, Tom founded Copper Insurance. Today, under his leadership, the Copper team excels in representing highly respected insurance companies and has earned recognition as a Premier Partner.
Copper, symbolizing strong connection, reflects Tom’s commitment to meaningful client relationships. He prioritizes providing unwavering support to quality businesses and is deeply dedicated to fostering long lasting partnerships. Tom is excited to continue leading Copper Insurance as one of the top independent insurance agencies in the country.
